12 – Arrivals (The Penumbra Part 3):

The end of Part 2 saw three strangers suddenly appearing at places around the manor. Here we find out who they are and why they are here. Sent to the house or drawn there from disparate places and times (two of them from other stories so far…), they learn about Charles, the penumbra entities, and the unique place that the manor and grounds seems to occupy.

Meanwhile, Gloaming has spent increasing amounts of time in a mysterious back cabin that leaves everyone changed once they’ve gone inside. Reinvigorated, confused, disturbed, or determined. Alex and Ginger are the last to explore and find out the secrets inside that Charles had until recently forgotten about.

Amongst all this the underlying motivations swirl, the plan to remove the penumbra from existence forms, and several horrific things are witnessed.

This story rounds out Volume 4 and is number three in Book 2. Which should be forthcoming any day now…
