Today’s tale is an epistolary, a fancy word meaning one told through letters, journals, other types of text. It is also much more horror/suspense than before, although with a penumbra twist.

16 – Black Sky Come:

It is 2020. Kylie is an airline attendant, although she is terrified of flying. Some deep trauma in her past compels her to keep working. As she does, she takes on different personas in her life to make things more interesting, and explore different facets of her personality.

She meets a frequent flier one day who invites her to join a semi-formal organization of seemingly unconnected types of people. After a night visiting him in a hotel for more information, the man ends up dead within hours. As this version of 2020 progresses, Kylie digs up more pieces from her past, as well as her present, especially when more bodies turn up in her wake. Is she what she thinks she is?

This story is the first in the current Volume 6: Voyages. Also story 7 in Book 2.
