I cannot wait for next weekend, though there are plenty of spooky things happening this weekend as well.

Today, the first full continuation of The Penumbra, the mainline story. Sort of like the occasional X-File running storyline episode, but more coherent.

6 – Manor of Gloaming (The Penumbra Part 2):

Charles Gloaming has been miraculously revived now that Ginger and Alex have decided to stay and help with telling tales to the otherworldly entities that haunt Charles and anyone he comes near.

They are effectively prisoners, although they all find their freedoms within the house. That, and strange visions of places from their pasts or messages in the present, driving them toward something.

As they weather the winter outside, they delve further into the secrets Charles has hidden from others and even from himself.

This story rounds out Volume 3 and is found in Book 2, complete with a set of Author’s Notes as a sort of Director’s Commentary.
