We are in the last few stories found in Book 1. And that much closer to the end of the month! This one is another sci-fi departure. This one was inspired by asking “what if you view language as a monster?”

8 – Across A Full Dark Sea:

On a far off small, wintry planet, a young tribal hunter receives a partially-decipherable message on an ancient communications network. His civilization has deliberately kept remote and away from most advanced technology, but this recording from beyond the stars throws him, his friends, and his society into disarray.

The message could be from friend or foe, and the more they dig under the surface to find out, the more uncertainty and questions arise.

This story appears in Volume 3, as well as in Book 1.

One more story tomorrow rounds out the first book, and brings us halfway.
